Dear Sir/Madam,
Kindly provide me the following information u/s 6(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005:
(1) How many daily wages workers or non-employees of IIT Kanpur have suffered injuries and/or untimely deaths on campus during its history?
(2) How many of the abovementioned were given treatment by the Health Centre of IIT Kanpur?
(3) In how many of the abovementioned cases enquiry committees were constituted to ascertain the cause of injury and/or death? How many of these enquiries have been completed?
(4) What was the compensation given by IIT Kanpur in each of the abovementioned cases of injuries and/or deaths?
(5) Is it true that Rohit, 12 years old son of a construction worker, who died on 26th August, 2007 because of snake/scorpion bite was denied treatment at Health Centre of IIT Kanpur? If yes, what action has been taken against the doctor on duty when he was brought to the Health Centre?

(1) How many villages and people were displaced when IIT Kanpur was established at its present site in the ‘60s?
(2) What was the compensation given to each of the abovementioned displaced families?
(3) How many people from the abovementioned displaced families were given jobs in IIT Kanpur?
(4) Was there any agreement signed between the IIT and these abovementioned displaced families? If yes, please provide copies of these agreements.
